Eeep! It’s release day for THE HALLOWED ONES

*Muppet Flail*

And it’s a good thing you can’t see that Muppet flail, because I look a LOT like Beaker in person.

Release day is always full of anxiety and elation. But it’s always wonderful to be surrounded by good friends to help celebrate the milestones. Check out this wonderful raven that Jeffe Kennedy sent me:

Ravens figure prominently in the story, as do hex signs. I’ve never owned one before, but Marcella Burnard sent me one as a birthday/release prezzie:

The always-fabulous Sullivan McPig sent me a lovely package containing a bazillion kinds of candy. I devoured all the candy within two days. There’s something about Dutch candy that I must have been deeply involved with in a previous life, because it is NOM. Behold the lovely nonedibles that Sullivan sent, and which will go into my treasure box:

I will be spending most of the day breathing into a paper bag. Probably one of the ones the candy came in, because they smell soothingly of licorice and chocolate.

Thanks to all the lovely folks who’ve sent me their good wishes!
